Heather Schaubach, MMS, PA-C, began her medical career when she was 16, as an EMT. She began volunteering with a local rescue squad and in the emergency room. She continued working as an EMT throughout her undergraduate career.
While attending Chowan, Heather majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She was inducted into the biology honor’s society of Tri Beta. She was also given the honor of Chowan University’s Distinguished Alumni.
She is certified by the NCCPA and is a member of AAPA and VAPA.
Heather began her PA career in Lynchburg, VA in 2013. Moving back home to the Tidewater area, she joined Urology of Virginia in October 2016.
Heather works primarily in the hospital setting, where she manages emergent urological conditions, performs bedside procedures, and evaluates hospital consultations, daily rounds on patients, with coordinating pre and post-operative care.
Heather enjoys spending time with her dog, Charlie, and traveling to as many foreign beaches as possible.
