Jamie, a Northern Virginia native, moved to Hampton Roads in 2006 to attend Christopher Newport University. While at CNU she completed her undergraduate studies in psychology and then went on to complete a master’s degree in teaching. She then spent time teaching elementary school in Newport News, Virginia. Her passion for medicine eventually pulled her out of the classroom to allow her to prepare for her career as a Physician Assistant.
Jamie completed her Physician Assistant studies at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Prior to attending EVMS, she worked in Riverside emergency departments in Hampton Roads and on the Eastern Shore. Jamie also volunteered as an EMT for the City of Virginia Beach. Jamie is dedicated to her community and has always taken pride in volunteering to serve others.
She and her husband currently live in Virginia Beach with their beloved 90lb Labrador Retriever lap dog. She enjoys traveling, shopping, leisure reading, and most things fitness related.
