Dr. DeLong specializes in pelvic floor and genitourinary reconstruction, including urethral stricture, Peyronie’s disease, erectile dysfunction, male and female incontinence, female prolapse, and complicated urinary disorders. She is board certified in urology and is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS), Société Internationale d’ Urologie (SIU), Society of Women in Urology (SWIU), Associate Professor of Urology at EVMS, and accepted into the American College of Surgeons in 2020.
Dr. DeLong has published in many journals and texts regarding her work. She has presented her research extensively, both at the national and international level. She is co-chair for a Pelvic Floor/Women’s Health center at a local hospital. She is committed to work in resource poor settings, and has traveled as a volunteer both while in training and as a visiting professor, to set up sustainable training models for surgical care. She is the co-founder of the first genitourinary reconstructive urology fellowship in the Caribbean.
