Undergraduate: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University; Washington, DC

Graduate: Master of Science in Nursing from The George Washington University; Washington, DC
Master of Business Administration from The College of William & Mary; Williamsburg, VA

Melissa Polizos, NP – Melissa is a Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of diverse nursing experience. She started her medical career as a registered nurse at the Plastics and Cosmetic Surgery Center of Eastern Virginia Medical School. She went on to work in the pediatric intensive care unit at The Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters as well as work at Total Wellness coordinating biometric screening services for Fortune 500 companies. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University and her Master of Science in Nursing from The George Washington University. Melissa also obtained a Master of Business Administration from The College of William & Mary.

As a certified nurse practitioner for Urology of Virginia, Melissa works with a talented team of medical professionals to provide the highest level of care to patients. She is fully trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat urologic conditions in accordance with the American Urological Association.

Melissa is licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the nursing academic honors society, Sigma Theta Tau, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Urological Association.
