Dr. Chua obtained his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York, and completed his urology residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. He then pursued specialized training in minimally invasive surgery and completed a Robotic Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Chua’s clinical interests include the treatment of both benign and malignant urologic conditions. His expertise encompasses urologic cancers such as prostate, kidney, bladder, ureteral, and testicular cancer, as well as non-cancerous conditions including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and kidney stones. He has presented at multiple national conferences and published research in peer-reviewed journals such as The Journal of Urology, The Journal of the American College of Surgeons, and Urologic Oncology.
Outside of work, Dr. Chua enjoys staying active through running, playing volleyball, and traveling.
