Dr. Chua completed medical school at SUNY Downstate and residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He developed a passion for minimally invasive surgery and proceeded to do the Robotic Urology Oncology Fellowship at the University of Southern California where he trained under multiple leaders in the field. Dr. Chua has clinical interests in treating benign and malignant urologic conditions including prostate, kidney, bladder, upper tract urothelial, testicular and penile cancer.
He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at various national conferences. He is motivated to provide the best patient care with the most updated literature, and is excited to offer novel treatments through clinical trials which the Urology of Virginia participates in.
Outside of work, Dr. Chua enjoys playing beach volleyball, running and traveling.
