Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile Dysfunction (ED) — It happens. It can happen to anyone every now and then, but as you get older you may notice it happening more. Erections are a complex event involving nerves, chemistry, and small arteries and veins – all of which can be thrown off by age and the medical problems that life sends our way. We can help!

Whether it’s a problem with blood flow, nerve signals, or hormonal imbalance we have the solution. But why is it happening? That’s the most important question. Physical causes can include treatable medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, low-testosterone, and more. Our team of experts can also assess for the underlying causes, in partnership with our cardiology team, and maybe save your life!

ED often causes emotional and relationship problems and can leave men spiraling into low self-esteem and broken relationships. Above all our experts want to make sure you get the care you need to be the man you want to be. Don’t let anything stand in your way.

Consider these questions:

  1. How do you rate your confidence that you could keep an erection?
  2. When you had erections with sexual stimulation, how often were your erections hard enough for penetration?
  3. During sexual intercourse, how often were you able to maintain your erection after initial penetration?
  4. During sexual intercourse, how difficult was it to maintain your erection to completion of intercourse?
  5. When you attempted sexual intercourse, how often was it satisfactory for you?

What are the treatments for ED?

Oral Pills

The introduction of a class of drugs called PDE-5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, Stendra, Staxyn) changed the world of ED treatment. These pills, when taken properly, can increase blood flow in response to your body’s natural arousal signals to boost the strength of your erection.

Injection Therapy

When the pills stop working one of the best minimally-invasive options is penile injection therapy. Using a combination of medications directly placed into the penis with a tiny needle, a sustainable erection can be achieved. Don’t worry, our team has been training men and their partners to do this for 20 years and can walk you through the entire process.

Vacuum Device

The vacuum erection device works by placing a cylinder over the penis and applying negative (vacuum) pressure. After the penis becomes engorged with blood, an erection is formed. A band is then placed at the base of the penis and the cylinder is removed to have intercourse. Many people have heard of this or even tried it before, but medical grade options are available that may provide better success for those interested in this option.

Penile Prosthesis

When we say we can get you an erection “one way or another” we mean it. When other therapies aren’t working for you this one will. The penile prosthesis is a surgically implanted device that places inflatable cylinders on each side of the penis to create the erection that your body isn’t able to anymore. It goes where you go and is ready at a moment’s notice.
