Medical School: Eastern Virginia Medical School, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice
Kaycie is a native of the Midwest, growing up in small-town Northern Minnesota. She graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN and moved to Virginia Beach. She attended Eastern Virginia Medical School to obtain her Masters of Physician Assistant degree. After graduation, Kaycie worked in the emergency departments throughout Hampton Roads as an Emergency Medicine PA. In 2016, she deployed with the VA National Guard to the Middle East where she spent a year providing care to our soldiers. Since then, she has worked as a government contractor in several remote and isolated locations including Afghanistan and the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. Most recently, she spent time practicing General Urology in the underserved high-altitude region of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She has enjoyed her years of medical travel but has ultimately decided to return to Hampton Roads to be near her friends and family.
Kaycie is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. As an Advanced Practice Provider at Urology of Virginia, Kaycie provides high quality evidence-based care to patients in the acute care clinic and specializes primarily in urologic emergencies and hospital follow-up care.
In her free time, Kaycie is active in the Army Reserves and is an avid Jeep off-road trail-rider and overland enthusiast.
