Dr. Kent worked as a sports and orthopedic physical therapist for 6 years prior to working at Urology of Virginia. She developed an interest in treating pelvic floor conditions after noticing how pelvic floor dysfunctions can play a role in orthopedic conditions such as low back pain, hip pain, knee pain, and postural dysfunctions. Dr. Kent treats both men and women pelvic floor issues including urinary incontinence and pelvic pain. Dr. Kent has a particular interest in back pain and its role in female pelvic pain, male pelvic pain including testicular pain, and overactive bladder. In her spare time, Dr. Kent enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, hiking, and is an amateur ballroom dancer.
